Chief Executive Officer — Healthcare Platform

Full-time | Bucharest | Reporting to the Board / Investment Fund

Our client is a newly established private healthcare platform, backed by a private equity investor, building a network of specialised medical clinics in Romania. The platform is at an early stage and will grow through acquisitions and organic expansion.

About the role

You will build, develop and lead the platform. This is a hands-on mandate combining business building, healthcare operations, M&A integration and organisational development — you create the structure rather than inherit it.

A critical part of the job is integrating independent medical businesses into a common platform while keeping founder-doctors on board and preserving the clinical strengths that made those businesses valuable in the first place.

Responsibilities

→Define and execute the growth strategy together with the Board and investors
→Build the organisation, management structure and operating model for the next stage of growth
→Lead the operational integration of acquired clinics, aligning processes, reporting and governance
→Work closely with founder-doctors through the transition and post-acquisition period
→Take full P&L responsibility: revenue growth, operational efficiency, sustainable profitability
→Establish KPIs, management reporting and consistent operating standards across locations
→Build and develop the senior management team
→Report to the investment fund and Board, and support the evaluation of new acquisitions

Candidate profile

→Senior leadership experience as CEO, General Manager, Country Manager or COO
→Strong understanding of private healthcare operations, in a multi-site environment
→Full P&L ownership, with demonstrated commercial accountability
→Experience scaling multi-site operations and launching new locations from the ground up
→Exposure to acquisitions and post-acquisition integration
→Experience working with physicians, ideally physician-founders
→Exposure to Boards, shareholders or private equity environments
→Proven ability to build and lead senior management teams
