Chief Accountant

Full-time | Bucharest, Sky Tower • Hybrid | Negotiable

A growing national business with mixed operations (a network of physical locations and an online channel), in a phase of operational and digital scaling. Direct reporting line: CEO. Coordinating an accounting team of 3–4 people.

Responsibilities

→Supervising and validating accounting entries
→Monthly and annual closings
→Preparing and submitting tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, SAF-T, D394)
→Account reconciliation and monitoring document flows
→Relationship with the external auditor
→Optimising accounting procedures and flows
→Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax legislation

Candidate profile

→Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail, e-commerce or FMCG
→Minimum 2 years in senior accountant positions
→Solid knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
→Experience with ERP software and audit
