Mechanization Manager

We are recruiting for a Romanian construction company with over 20 years of experience in civil and industrial construction projects, renovations, maintenance and general construction works. The company is in a phase of development, structuring and digitalization of its operational functions, and the role of Mechanization & Equipment Manager is an important one for the smooth running of the sites and for improving the traceability of the equipment used in execution.

We are looking for a person with technical and operational experience, who can manage a mixed fleet of machinery, equipment and tools used on sites and who can bring more order, control and predictability to the mechanization area.

You will coordinate the administration, allocation and tracking of the machinery, equipment and tools used on sites. The role covers both the management of large machinery and of the equipment and tools used daily in execution.

• →Plan and track the allocation of machinery, equipment and tools to sites
• →Keep records of transfers between locations and sites
• →Track machinery availability and prevent blockages caused by lack of equipment
• →Maintain records of machinery usage, operating hours, consumption, interventions and costs
• →Track the technical condition of the machinery and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
• →Manage the documentation related to machinery and vehicles: technical inspections, ISCIR, insurance, leasing, taxes and other administrative deadlines
• →Collaborate with site managers, project managers, operators, drivers, service providers, parts suppliers, the procurement team and accounting
• →Work with the existing internal system and be involved in the transition to a new ERP that will support stock, warehouse, orders and reporting
• →Contribute to increasing operational discipline in the machinery, tools and equipment area

• →Experience in managing machinery, technical equipment, vehicle fleets, tools or mechanization
• →Ideally worked in construction, infrastructure, installations, production, maintenance, heavy transport, machinery servicing or similar operational fields
• →You understand the basic operation of a machinery fleet and can talk in practical terms with operators, mechanics, service providers and site managers
